Abstract submission

The International Photodynamic Association is calling for abstract submissions for the upcoming 19th World Congress in Shanghai, China.
We are seeking abstracts for all research related to photodynamic action in diagnosis (PDD) and therapy (PDT) in all clinical and cosmetic applications. This includes but is not necessarily limited to 
· Oncology;
· Dermatology
· Gynecology
· Gastroenterology
· Respirology
· Oral and nasopharyngeal diseases
· Brain
· Head and neck diseases
· Immunology (Immunomodulation triggered by PDT or in combination with PDT)
· Antimicrobial PDT/ Infectious diseases
· Novel photosensitizer and nanotechnology
· PDT and combination therapies
· PDT and ionizing radiation - Alternatives to light excitation
· PDT dosimetry and interstitial delivery
· Global Health
· New PDT activation sources
· Photodynamic priming and targeting to overcome resistance
· ROS and explicit Dosimetry
· Hypoxic and Normoxic conditions in PDT
· Photothermal Therapy
· Other Topics
An abstract should be 0.75—1.5 pages long, and must include an introduction, methods, results and discussion. Please include 3 keywords in your submission.

Instructions for Poster Authors

We highly recommend making your poster in A0 size for the optimal visual impact. A0 size equals 841 x 1189 mm or 33.1 x 46.8". Please see the pictures below to see how the A0 sized poster will look on the poster boards in the Shanghai International Convention Center.

Important Notes

1. You need to register for the congress to join this session.
2. Poster presentation: One of the authors must show at the symposium to present the poster;
3. Dimension: 841 x 1189 mm (width* length);
4. Multiple posters from one participant is allowed;

Bring your printed poster to the congress venue, and the organizers will help place it on the board.
